“We just want our daughter to have something to open up on her Birthday. We barely make ends meet even though we both work. I work in childcare and get a discount but even with the discount half of my check goes towards childcare and the other to our expenses. We try to save what we can by buying things on sale / coupons for groceries and clothes and we keep an eye out on things people give away for free. 🩵🧁✨CANDLES & KINDNESS ✨🧁🩵 ⭐️ Birthday Hero: Luca 🕯️ Candle Count: 9 yrs old 🎁 Kindness in Action: To raise money for Operation Birthday Luca has had several lemonade stands during the summer months. He donates all of his tips to Operation Birthday. He has raised several hundred dollars the last few years. The top donation from one lemonade stand was $106! 🎈Luca’s Birthday Magic: “I get a birthday celebration every year, so I want to help give other kids that same joy. Helping other kids makes me feel happy and grateful.”
“I work a full time job and all of the money goes towards bills. My daughter’s father passed way in 2024 so I’ve been struggling to keep up with everything all by myself. Receiving a Birthday Kit would help because then I don’t have to stress about how to give my daughter a birthday. This would mean so much!!
