“I am a single mom of three and care for my grandparents who adopted me when I was younger. (I call them my parents.) I’m only able to work 15 hours per week due to two of my children having a disability. I work part-time for the hospital and I attend college full-time (online). I also homeschool all of my children so that I’m able to ensure their education, resources, and support are top priority. I take them to ST, OT and Play Therapy 1-2x per week. We also must attend their numerous doctor appointments. I’ve been struggling financially lately since I had to reduce my hours. We were hoping to have been caught up after tax season but got hit with a huge unexpected bill due to an issue with our water and then some health issues that emerged in our family.
